There will be lots of Holiday gatherings, parties, and events, which means a time for meeting new friends and maybe even connecting with old friends or acquaintances. Smiling is contagious.
Smile, Smile, and Smile some more. No one can resist a great smile, and it helps to show that you are inviting and have an interest in them. When you smile, everyone else around you will feel like smiling, including that special someone. Smiling can lead to a more enjoyable conversation, which can make getting to know each other more fun.
Invite them into your space.
Lean in just a little while you are listening to them to encourage them to enter into your personal space. Showing them that you are interested can open the door to opportunities. So, let them know you want to see them again for a possible future.
Give them an authentic compliment.
Whether a man compliments a lady on her beautiful hair or the aroma of her perfume; or she compliments him on his handsome haircut or debonair shoes; compliments make people feel appreciated. Just make sure the compliment is authentic.
Have a little mystery about yourself.
Some people love dating a mysterious person because they enjoy slowly uncovering things about each other as they go on more dates. Be a bit mysterious to leave them with a feeling of longing, which will make them want to know more about you.
Give eye contact but don’t be scary with it.
Don’t stare but look up, make eye contact, smile and give a quick wink. The gentle sway of a lady’s hips or a gentleman’s smooth swagger while walking by the potential love interest can be uber exciting.
Be nice and be sweet.
Nice can mean desirable, presentable, trustworthy, helpful, or friendly; and, despite popular belief, many women are on the lookout for “nice” guys. Making a good first impression is important, especially if you are in a bar type environment. For example, send a server over to ask to buy them a beverage. This flirtatious move will make her or him smile and want to learn more about you.
Be careful about touching and rubbing.
Touching or rubbing can be interpreted as something positive for men. However, for women, touching them may not be a good idea in the beginning, because some may become offended by it. Only touch a woman when she becomes more comfortable with you.
Don’t be Afraid.
Just go for it. You may feel a little nervous or awkward, but the more you do it the better you will get at flirting!! If you end up having a relationship with that special person, it will be worth it. Don’t give into the fear. You are worthy. Get out there and enjoy the holidays and much more.
